Why: To use your own creativity to create a realistic magazine cover.
InDesign Original Magazine Cover
Begin designing your own original Magazine Cover. Check the requirements below:
- Title of Magazine (preferably a real magazine)
- Issue/Date
- Only 2 - 3 font colors (used appropriately - readable, fits with background color/picture)
- 2 - 3 font styles used (also readable and fits with theme of magazine)
- High quality photograph (2MP+) with one main focus (ex: woman in red dress) and appropriate background
- Bonus points for using your own photo!
- Minimum of five headlines / article highlights (See the examples below)
- Barcode
- Post to Google Classroom #mymagazine
Save in your InDesign folder with the name of your magazine. Save often! Do your best to make an interesting and realistic looking cover!
Keep in mind the end result - what do you want it to look like? Work towards your goal and stay focused. Please be appropriate!
